New Composers Web Ring

Welcome to New Composers Web Ring

Thanks for visiting. This ring was founded in January 2000 and consists of sites owned by living composers, both professional and amateur.

Site owners write scores for musical instruments and voices.
Scores can be obtained from the site or from sources indicated on the site.

A common aim is to publicize works with a view to obtaining performances. Sites will therefore hold links to players and performers as well as other music sites of interest.

This site is a relic and is no longer the official home of the ring.

I founded the ring and ran it for over ten years, during the several owners of WebRing.
For a while there were over a hundred active sites.
Since retiring from being ringmaster, I've left this site for the present.

Joining the Ring

New Member Sites are welcomed.

WebRing membership (free) is needed:
(Top left of this page).

Sites should comply with the Ring description, in particular that it is stated on the site how scores can be obtained (e-mail to the site owner is fine).

Sites can be in any language but the links to the ring will be in English.

Sites should be reasonably navigable.

NOTE: The REAL Joining Page is now ONLY visible to WebRing members who are SIGNED-IN.

This Ring is not automated. Membership is not absolutely controlled by the WebRing checker. But you may have to wait up to a fortnight if the ringmaster is away.
